2. To Purchase As A Gift

You may purchase shares as a gift for any other person. If the recipient is aged under 16 then the shares and membership will be held in your name until they reach the minimum age of membership. If the recipient is aged over 16 then they will become members of PCBS and will receive the associated democratic rights.

3. To Nominate A Beneficiary

You may nominate a person (who is over 16) to whom you wish your shares transferred upon your death. If you do not nominate below, or if your share holding is over £5,000 then your investment will be treated as part of your estate. PCBS will respect your wish in so far as the law and our rules permit. You also have the option to return your shares to PCBS for the benefit of the community upon your death.

I understand that it may not be possible for PCBS to action this request and neither I nor my executors will hold the Society responsible for its actions. I Understand that these instructions can only be revoked or amended by my giving clear written instruction to the Secretary of the Society at its registered address.

This share offer closes on 31st January 2026 unless the management committee exercises its right to extend the offer (up to a maximum of 12 months), or close the offer early if the maximum target is achieved. All monies received to purchase shares will be ring-fenced, and no such funds will be used to pay any of the costs associated with the project, unless and until the minimum investment target is reached, and shares are issued. By requesting that I become a member of PCBS I agree to my personal data being stored securely on a computer database. Refer to www.savethestag.co.uk for our data protection policy. I understand that this information will be used to maintain an up to date register of members as required by the rules of the CBS and for the posting of notices regarding the activities of the society. Your information will not be passed to third parties without your permission, except as required by law. In order to comply with anti money laundering regulations, PCBS reserve the right to ask applicants to produce identification documentation, and to carry out any other checks as required.
